在表达两地之间的位置关系时,经常用到介词in、on、to。为了区别其具体用法,特作下列图解说明:1.当表达A在B的范围之内时,用介词in。表示两者之间是包含关系。如:Shanghai is in the east of China。上海在中国的东部。2.当表达A与B是接壤关系时,用介词on。表示两者之间是外切关系。如:Hunan is on the west of Jiangxi。湖南在江西的西面。3.当表达A与B既不存在包含关系也没有接壤时,用介词to。表示两者之间是相离关系。
When expressing the positional relationship between two places, prepositions in, on, and often are used. In order to distinguish its specific usage, the following special illustrations: 1. When the expression A in the B range, with the preposition in. Indicates that the relationship between the two is inclusive. Such as: Shanghai is in the east of China. Shanghai is in the east of China. 2. When the expression A and B are bordering relations, the preposition on. Said that the relationship between the two is extrinsic. Such as: Hunan is on the west of Jiangxi. Hunan in the west of Jiangxi. 3. When the expression A and B neither contain the relationship nor the border, with the preposition to. That is the relationship between the two.
