The legend about the Shangguan Zhou Dynasty who had been inscribed into the palace and made paintings for the emperor for a long time. One said that Shangguan Zhou was one of the main portraits of the “Kangxi South Tour”; the other said he was the illustrator of the “Qianlong Southern Tour Festival.” This article, by examining the book publishing status of Kangxi South Tour and Qianlong South Tour Festival, combined with historical facts and documents, proves that Shangguan Zhou is one of the main makers of Kangxi South Tour Plot in the history of art history, Ye Dehui’s report on Shangguan Zhou, the “Qianlong Southern Tour Festival” drawer, lacks historical evidence. Released poems released into the eagle showed that the Shangguan Zhou in the Kangxi fifty-seven years (1718 Wu Xu) received the emperor’s edict, but as a eagle persuaded, decided to give up the opportunity to Beijing to court, speech should not . As a result, it also confirms the folk about the Shangguan Zhou as “court painter” legend has “source”.
