Objective To understand the HIV status and behavioral characteristics of MSM in Shenzhen and to analyze the influencing factors and provide suggestions for developing targeted intervention strategies. Methods Companion-driven sampling method was used to recruit MSM, and computer-assisted self-administered questionnaires were used to investigate. Blood samples were collected to detect HIV and syphilis antibodies. Use RDSAT software for statistical analysis. RESULTS: The prevalence of HIV among 492 MSM patients was 4.6% [95% confidence interval (CI): 2.59% -6.7%], and the prevalence of syphilis was 16.4% (95% CI: 11.9% -21.0%). The average age was (27.2 ± 6.3) years old, accounting for 98.4% of junior high school and above. The city’s household registration accounted for 8.5% and 60% of them searched for partners through the Internet. The average number of male and female sexual partners in the recent six months was 2.37 and 32.2% No condom use during the last 6 months for men who have sex with men. AIDS awareness of basic knowledge was only 61.1%, condom use knowledge is also poor, only 55.7%. Logistic regression analysis showed that living in Shenzhen was less than 3 months old and married from a high prevalence of HIV and had more than one non-commercial male partner, which was a risk factor for MSM infection with HIV. In the recent 6 months, HIV-related services were obtained , Is a protective factor of HIV infection. Conclusion It is necessary to further strengthen HIV monitoring and intervention in MSM and effectively prevent the spread and spread of HIV.
