今年五月十二日是著名物理学家汤定元院士七十五岁生日,他是我国红外技术的创建人,半导体光电器件的开拓者,窄禁带半导体学科的带头人。汤定元先生早年留学美国,回国后,先后任中国科学院应用物理研究所(1958年改名为物理研究所),半导体研究所助研、副研和研究员。
May 12 this year, is a well-known physicist Tang Dingyuan academician 75th birthday, he is China’s founder of infrared technology, a pioneer in semiconductor optoelectronic devices, narrow band gap semiconductor leader. Mr. Tang Dingyuan was studying in the United States in his early years. After returning to China, he served successively as the Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (renamed as Institute of Physics in 1958) and assistant research, associate research and researcher in the Institute of Semiconductors.
