半衰期是原子物理中的重要概念,同学们学习时应注意掌握两点:一是要正确理解半衰期;二是要能熟练计算半衰期.1.从三个方面理解半衰期(1)定义:放射性元素的原子核有半数发生衰变所需的时间,叫做这种元素的半衰期,用T表示.(2)决定因素:半衰期是由放射性元素的核内部本身的因素决定的,跟原子所处的物理(如压强、温度等)或化学(如单质或化合物)状态无关.
