中國科學院長春綜合研究所土木建築研究室住宅組在1953年大量推廣土壤水泥工作有很大成績。在鞍山與瀋陽協助現廠修建63,000平方米住宅,初步估計在鞍山的60,000平方米房屋比用磚墙可節省工程費20%,在沈陽推廣結果節省了工程費用12億元。 瀋陽市學校修建委員會,在瀋陽市郊官立堡修建3,456M~2的中學一所。其中包括教室及辦公室2,376M~2,宿舍1,080M~2,全部用土壤水泥墙壁修成,七月初即自現場採取土壤和水泥樣品進行分析與試驗,决定適宜的配合比。七月中旬開始施工,該所即派員前往實際參加工
Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun Institute of Civil Engineering Building Research Group residential group in 1953 to promote soil cement a large number of great achievements.
