Syllables are the most natural phonetic units. In general, a Chinese pronunciation is often a Chinese syllable (such as: running pao, jumping tiao, cast tou, etc.). Mr. Xu Shirong believes that the syllables of Chinese Mandarin can be explained by “volume”. He said that “volume” is the strength of the sound, Mandarin syllables are the beginning of strong volume, the end of the volume is weak. For example: nan (South) of this syllable, although the first and last phonemes are n, but before the pronunciation of a n volume, the latter n volume is very weak. It is precisely because of this feature of Mandarin syllables, so people in everyday conversation will not be “leather jacket”
