黑米稻是我国一种古老而名贵的特殊稻种类型。它的糙米果皮上由于色素的沉积(主要是黑色素)使其呈紫黑色而得名。据古农书《市民要术》记载,我国北魏时期(公元268~534年)就有栽培,至今已有1500年以上的历史。此米具有“开胃益中,滑涩补精”和“补肺缓筋”之功能,素有“药米”、“长寿米”等之美称。因此,历史上曾把它作为贡品进献皇帝。黑米稻,我国主要分布于云贵高原一带,其中以云南、贵州、广西比较集中,广东、四川、福建、陕西、湖南、江西、江苏等省地有分布,多在海拔200~1000米的丘陵山区种植,有籼、粳两个亚种,并以糯性为多,粘性较
