1978年2月5~11日美国锻压协会在俄亥俄州立大学和巴特尔哥伦布实验室举办了第一个正规的锻模设计学校。 该校的课程安排,包括有22小时的讲课、8小时的实验室实习、12小时的难题答疑以及自愿参加的晚自习。每个班级有30个学员。讲师共计5人,每个讲师都根据五本基础教科书所编辑的一套补充的课程教材和参考资料进行讲授。对正规科目要求每个学员都必须参加,这个学校不象研究班或学会式的学院结构。
February 5 ~ February 1978 American Forging Association held the first formal forging design school at Ohio State University and Battle Columbus Labs. The school’s curriculum, including 22 hours of lectures, 8 hours of laboratory internships, 12 hours of Q & A questions and voluntary evening classes. Each class has 30 students. A total of five lecturers, each lecturer is based on five basic textbooks edited by a supplementary set of course materials and reference materials for teaching. For formal subjects each participant is required to attend, which is not like a seminar or a learned college structure.
