The American Association for the Advancement of Science announced recently that researchers at the University of Arizona are developing a unmanned aerial vehicle that mimics the flight of birds and bees. Allegedly, this aircraft can stay in the air for a long time, free from abrupt changes in the air. According to reports, researchers in the laboratory to design a computer control system that allows the aircraft to stay in the air long-term, but also as a safe navigation system, the aircraft safely through a narrow space. This is similar to when bees return to their nests. In addition, they model the principle of bird flight and try to get the aircraft to absorb energy from gusts and heat flow. This is very different from the traditional design, because the traditional control system is to offset the turbulence in the air.
