“Nanjing! Nanjing!” Is a film that combines both regret and reward. The shortcoming is that the virtual Japanese military’s point of view and the clues of its story are too strong, especially failing to provide reasonable and credible Japanese cultural support for the viewpoint of the Japanese military. However, after all, the film transcends the words of the anti-Japanese war movies through this generational perspective and presents the imaginary intercultural dialogue or global universal value dialogue in the context of civil society. Its most prominent artistic appreciation is precisely the abnormal proof of artistic appreciation: it successfully ignited the common sense and dialogue among citizens in the present civil society about the responsibility of global public ethics Consciousness, in turn, arouses people’s pride and desire for the public’s appreciation of the arts, though this is not entirely from the conscious intention of the director. At present, the realization of public art appreciation is easy to encounter obstacles and embarrassment, so that the aesthetic appreciation and artistic accomplishment of the people, including art workers and the general public, have become imminent.
