好奇、富有探索精神是儿童的天性。素质教育强调的是在呵护儿童好奇心的基础上,激发儿童的探索欲望,培养儿童的问题意识。作为基础学科教师的语文教师应从革新教育理念、教育思想开始,完善教育行为,不断创设激发儿童探索、发现的问题情境,营造宽松、和谐、友爱的师生平等对话氛围,能够在语文学习生活中捕捉儿童的问题意识,并鼓励他们发问、搜集相关材料直至找到问题答案。语文教师要对善于发现问题、提出问题的儿童及时给予充分肯定、表扬,鼓励其积极尝试解决问题,并号召其他儿童向其学习,起到榜样示范作用。学校应善于调动家长参与的积极性,主动与家长建立家校合作机制,充分利用社区资源,共同培养儿童的问题意识。
