在重庆市万州区10年生甜橙园中,以4—7月先后施用高效杀螨杀虫剂3次的化学防治为对照,研究了人工繁殖的巴氏新小绥螨在田间控制柑桔全爪螨的效果,并调查了巴氏新小绥螨越冬种群的变化。结果表明,4月中下旬释放巴氏新小绥螨1 500头/株,有效控制柑桔全爪螨的时间长达150天,不仅能有效地控制5月害螨的盛发,对秋季害螨的高峰亦有很好的控制效果,害螨量长期在低水平内波动,最高害螨量216头/百叶;释放的巴氏新小绥螨能在柑桔园内建立稳定的种群和安全过冬,冬季种群高峰可达5头/百叶。化学防治虽然见效快,但持效期短,施药后不久害螨虫口快速回升,害螨量多数时候较高,后期最高害螨量达到1 988头/百叶,造成严重为害。
