In 2014, Russia’s arms exports dropped for the first time after experiencing a sustained and rapid increase of more than 10 years. The new contracts and export deliveries both showed year-on-year decreases in varying degrees. From the perspective of export product structure, the aircraft still topped the list and air defense systems exported well. From the perspective of export market structure, India remained the largest exporter of the country and Iraq entered the top three of its largest customers. From the perspective of development, the current Export orders to ensure that the Russian arms exports in the next few years still maintain a high level of operation, but it is difficult to achieve a historic breakthrough.
