The Chinese classical aesthetics is profound and has a long history. Its thoughts are concentrated in the three systems of literary theory, painting theory and music theory. However, it is hard for ancient Chinese music, like ancient Chinese literature and painting, to have a specific aesthetic text as the aesthetic object of contemporary reality. In ancient Chinese music system, there is not a complete system of popular music symbols preserved as Western musical notation for future generations to interpret and repeat.
