信息是现代社会文明的三大资源之一,社会主义四化建设离不开信息资源。档案工作要适应时代的要求,就必须把“开发信息资源,服务四化建设”作为自己的工作指针。档案信息的开发,从广义上讲包括档案工作的各个方面,诸如收集、整理、鉴定等等,以丰富馆藏,为各方面的利用服务;从狭义上讲是指从档案载体中提取有价值的信息,以为社会所用。多年来,我们做了大量的档案收集整理工作,每个档案馆都保存有几万、十几万、甚至数十万卷档案。这些档案存储着大量信息,是我国进行四化建设的一项宝贵而又十分丰富的 Information is one of the three major resources of modern social civilization. The construction of the socialist four modernizations is inseparable from information resources. Archives work to meet the requirements of the times, we must “develop information resources, building four services” as their work guidelines. In a broad sense, the development of archive information includes all aspects of archival work, such as collecting, arranging, appraising and so on, so as to enrich the collection and serve all aspects of its use. In a narrow sense, it refers to the extraction of valuable Information, for social use. Over the years, we have done a lot of file collection and finishing work, each archives have preserved tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of files. These files store a great deal of information and are a valuable and very rich one for our country’s four modernizations
