I have been engaged in teaching for more than a decade. During my teaching, I found an interesting phenomenon: Many students have good grades in Chinese and written well-written articles, but most of them do not like Chinese very much. Others are very serious. Every word spoken by the teacher in the Chinese class and every word on the blackboard are recorded. However, the Chinese result is unsatisfactory. Why is there such an outcome? The reason is very simple, the former love reading, while the latter regarded reading as a task, can not appreciate any of the fun. In response to this situation, we should carefully reflect on our language teaching.
