在教育科学向学科领域深化的今天,我国普通中学的美术课程设置,已有显著进展。初中三个年级全部开课,这对《全日制中学美术试用教材》如何使学科知识结构安排得既合理而又切实可行,便于学生综合应用,作为认识的工具和实践的工具,适应学科教育不断深入的需要,更好地落实《中小学美术教学大纲》规定的美育、智力、技能三个方面的任务,培养社会主义建设所需要的开拓型人才,提出了更高要求。
