  【Abstract】at present stage, along with the penetration of the content of new into every stage of the teaching link came a more demanding both for teachers and students at the same time.Accordingly, we need to improve our learning efficiency under the premise of arousing our enthusiasm as well asinitiative to explore so as to reflect our own subjectivity. Based on this, the author makes a corresponding analysis of improving the interests of middle school students in English learning, and then thinks about it.

  Whether we can improve the learning efficiency depends on how much we are interested in the related knowledge. Only when we stimulate our learning enthusiasm to the final goal can we explore the knowledge initiatively and achieve it eventually, especially in the learning of middle school English. To arouse the interests we’re supposed to recognize what we learn, which is the mostsignificant guarantee for improving the efficiency of English learning.
  1. Analysis of the current situation of English learning in middle school students
  Since contacting with English, we often make a simple summary to the main characteristics of this subject and then focus on it.Besides, it is common for us to attach great importance to high scores, which will drive us mad, unable to stimulate our inner learning enthusiasm as well as immerse in the temporary achievements.
  2. Analysis of typical problems in English learning of middle school students
  (1) The understanding of English is one-sided
  In terms of students, study means more than just having a good command of textbooks.Instead, it is more important to enjoy the whole process of learning, continuously go beyond ourselves.Nevertheless, there are some students who can’t realize the great significance and just satisfy themselves with present grades. Thereby, it’s no wonder they have met the decline of learning efficiency together with initiative.
  (2) Bad relationship between teachers and students
  It’s impossible for us to handle all the knowledge we have been taught in class, so whether we can get along well with our teachers and ask them about our puzzles actively leads to big differences.Honestly speaking, if we are too shy to communicate with our teachers and afraid of asking questions, it will get in the way of our further developmwnt, which is harmful to us.
  3. How to cultivate students’ interests in English learning   (1) Building a friendly teacher-student relationship
  Above all, we should be aware of ourown levels and thenanalyse, summarize and reflect from our perspectives, which makes it possible to figure out our positions andsummarize the key of English learningusing our previous cognitive abilities. So we can realize the importance of communications between teachers more clearly, based on which we may dare to ask, beready to ask questions and strengthen the friendship between ourselves and the teachers gradually.It’s also convenient for teachers to develop a suitable teaching method for our growth and development. This is beneficial to us taking full advantage of our time and stimulate our initiative.
  (2) Participating in English practice programs heart and soulMiddle school English learning procession will be generally combined with the theory and practice, prompting both appropriate integration of knowledge and the ability of master ingvital points. As a middle school student, aiming at improvingour English learning efficiency, we need to enjoy the relevantpractices in groups from the bottom of our hearts. It’s the best opportunities to re-examine whether we have had a full command of what we had learned or not by applying it in person and think about our further plans. At the same time, we can communicate with students to achieve effective communication and find fun and excitement brought by knowing the key of English learning.
  (3) Stimulating the interest of learning throughcreating the real situations
  In the process of English learning, we should recognize our strengths and weeknesses. For intance, some students might face great difficulties in listening while others in speaking. That’s why we need to create situation of language trainings and experience the fun of speaking English, furthermore, strengthen our integration and utilization abilities of the English words, phrases and grammars to improve our practical application ability, indirectly stimulate our interests in English learning.
  Conclusion:
  In summary, interest is the cornerstone of success. Middle school English may be extremely hard for some of the students, and it is difficult to find the best way to learn. Therefore, we middle school students need to re-examine our own learning tasks, stimulate our interests in English learning, be willing to ask questions when facing problems. What’s more, communicating with classmates after class through the way of creating situations also matters.
