This article gives the results of the magnetotelluric sounding in some areas of Inner Mongolia, Gansu and Ningxia. These results show that the lateral variation of the conductivity distribution in the crust and upper mantle within the seismic zone is obvious, while the lateral variation of the conductivity distribution in the more stable Erdos platform is smaller. The conductivity structure of crust and upper mantle easier. Based on these results, it is found that the low crust in the upper crust (10-15km) is well developed in the epicentral region of large earthquakes, which may be related to large earthquakes. The results of the geomagnetic survey in the northwestern region of China show that the Moho is not a clear electrical interface and that the low resistivity layer in the central part of the crust appears to correspond to the Konka interface in some areas, A clear electrical interface.
