I. Overview The research of plant radiation sensitivity is an important issue in radiation biology. It is of great significance to understand the biological role of radiation in the application of radiation in agriculture. Earlier studies in this area have focused mainly on the differences in sensitivity among various plant species. For example, in a study by Johnson (1936) on more than 100 species in 50 families, Sparrow et al. (1957) observed more than 100 species of plants in the gamma field for six consecutive years.
