陕西历史博物馆前门水池中安置的一巨型石雕,1973年2月发现于西安市西郊三桥镇北高堡子村的汉太液池遗址北岸,出土时即被称为石鱼。原简讯称:该石雕砂石质,两头细、中间粗,略似橄榄形,长4.9米,中间直径约1米,头径0.59米,尾径0.47米,鱼头部雕出一只眼睛,出土后移至原陕西省博物馆的石刻艺术馆一侧安置(图一)(黑光:《西安汉太液池出土一件巨形石鱼》,《文物》1975年第6期,第92页;刘庆柱、李毓芳:《汉长安城》,文物出版社2003年3月
