1.电子计算机是怎样划分“代”的?它们各有什么特点?有些什么代表机型?答:电子计算机通常是按构成它的主要元件分“代”的。第一代是电子管计算机。特点是由电子管组成基本的逻辑电路,机器的体积大,耗电多,运算速度不快。代表的机器有EDVAC.UNIVAC-1、IBM-704等。第二代是晶体管计算机。这一代计算机由晶体管做逻辑单元。机器的体积和功耗都开始下降,实用性有了增强。代表性产品有IBM1401、IBM-7090等。
1. How do computers divide “generations”? What are their characteristics? What are the representative models? A: Computers are usually based on the major components that constitute them. The first generation was a tube computer. The characteristic is that the basic logic circuit is composed of electron tubes. The volume of the machine is large, the power consumption is high, and the operation speed is not fast. The machines represented are EDVAC.UNIVAC-1, IBM-704, etc. The second generation is a transistor computer. This generation of computers is made up of transistors as logic cells.
