Ether CAT(Ethernet Control Automation Technology)是一种用于工业自动化的实时以太网现场总线协议。通过使用OPC(Object Linking and Embedding for Process Control)Gateway驱动程序实现了EPICS(Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System)IOC(Input/Output Controller)与Ether CAT设备的通信,从而使Ether CAT成为加速器控制系统中对实时性要求很高的高速控制系统的一种解决方案。在简要介绍EPICS、Ether CAT、OPC及OPC Gateway的基础上,对使用OPC Gateway驱动程序实现EPICS IOC与Ether CAT设备通信进行了测试。结果表明,EPICS IOC可通过OPC Gateway驱动程序与Ether CAT设备正常通信。
EtherCAT (Ethernet Control Automation Technology) is a real-time Ethernet fieldbus protocol for industrial automation. Communication between EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) IOC (Input / Output Controller) and an Ether CAT device is realized by using the OPC (Object Linking and Embedding for Process Control) Gateway driver to make the Ether CAT an accelerator control system A real-time high-speed control system requires a solution. Based on a brief introduction to EPICS, Ether CAT, OPC and OPC Gateway, we tested the communication between EPICS IOC and Ether CAT devices using the OPC Gateway driver. The results show that the EPICS IOC can communicate properly with Ether CAT devices through the OPC Gateway driver.
