我们的祖先为了保存和发展丰富多彩的古代音乐文化,创造发明了多种记谱法,如文字谱、半字谱、减字谱、工尺谱、律吕字谱等,编成了许多曲谱集。现择要介绍如下。《碣石调幽兰》,现存最早的琴曲谱。录有琴曲一首。南朝梁代隐士丘明(494~590)传谱。原件是唐代手抄的卷子,现保存在日本。曲谱采用文字谱的记写方式,即用汉字记述弹琴的指法和弦位,是仅存的文字谱实例。经近人研究,已试译成减字谱和五线谱,并能付诸演奏(见图一)。《敦煌曲谱》,录有二十五首唐代琵琶曲。手抄于公元933年(一说为934年)。原保存于敦煌莫高窟,现收藏在法国巴黎图书馆。曲谱采用“唐人燕乐半字谱”
