1986年以来,由于龙羊峡、刘家峡两水库汛期大量蓄水,减小了潼关洪水的洪峰流量,并缩短了3000m3/s以上流量的历时。据统计,1960~1994年的35a中,7月15日以前出现大于3000m3/s洪峰的几率约为46%,7月30日前约为83%,8月4日前约为97%,在出现了第一场洪水后,再次出现大于5000m3/s洪水的几率很小。因此,提出在实际调度中,将潼关站出现3000m3/s洪峰作为泄洪排沙的标准,以流量与黄河下游最有利排沙流量是基本相适应的。此外,还对1989年以来利用第一场洪水排沙下游淤积情况进行了分析。
