Sichuan-Tibet Highway is a artery of transport across the territory of the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Ganzi. It is also the bridge of happiness for the people of the Tibetan areas to connect the central cities of the motherland to the Mainland. It was built in the early 1950s when the People’s Republic of China was founded and has been in existence for more than 40 years. In the past years have made a historic contribution. However, the current Sichuan-Tibet highway has been in a poor technical level, the road conditions are more complex, less able to resist the disaster and the seasonal cutoff rate situation.
