香港流感 1997年,中国香港特别行政区出现了18例由禽流感病毒导致的流感。当年5月,一名儿童感染致死,其感染的病毒被确定为与甲型禽流感密切相关。在此之前,从未证实过人类出现此种类型的感染。同年11月,香港出现了17例类似病毒的系列感染。患者多病情严重以成年病人尤甚,其中5例死亡。同时在香港饲养或进口的鸡群中出现了H5N1病毒爆发流行。
Flu in Hong Kong In 1997, 18 cases of flu caused by the bird flu virus emerged in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. In May of that year, a child was infected with the virus and its infection was identified as being closely related to the type A bird flu. Until now, this type of infection has never been confirmed in humans. In November of the same year, a series of 17 similar virus infections were reported in Hong Kong. More serious patients with adult patients in particular, including 5 deaths. At the same time, the outbreak of H5N1 virus occurred in chickens raised or imported in Hong Kong.
