Multiple neuropathies and autonomic dysfunction are common in patients with diabetes and uremia. To date, their pathophysiology is still fully elucidated. However, abnormal neurological function in both diabetic and non-diabetic patients can be improved after renal transplantation. This study aims to understand the successful long-term control of pancreatic transplantation in diabetic patients with good condition, can improve the severity of neuropathy. Thirteen IDDM patients (9 males and 4 females with a mean age of 34.4 years) had advanced diabetic nephropathy, retinopathy, and sensory abnormalities. Five had orthostatic hypotension and received both pancreas and kidney grafts. Control group I had only 15 cases of renal transplantation
