在明代的苏州,可以称为藏书家的人很多,据相关研究者统计,总数已超过200人。但当时各家所藏的古籍善本,经过三四百年,依然能够流传下来的,却寥寥无几。其中就有我们所熟知的文徵明与唐寅。关于文徵明的藏书,在《衡山仰止——文徵明的社会角色》1一书中已论述。唐氏学圃堂所藏宋元本,数量上与文氏玉兰堂不相上下,更可贵的是,很多书都留有唐寅阅读的痕迹。在祝允明所撰的《唐子畏墓志并铭》中,
