废棉籽壳,是指新鲜棉籽壳种过平菇的下床料和制种时杂菌污染挖瓶的棉籽壳。我们于1981～1983年,以这类废棉籽壳为原料进行了种草菇试验,每百斤料收鲜草菇均稳定在21斤以上(见表).现将主要的几项措施简述如下。
