We have used spectral analysis, thin layer chromatography and other methods to compare certain chemical constituents of Daping No.2 and Guangdi Long, indicating that the two components are very similar, and we believe that Daping No.2 may replace Guangdi Dragon as a medicine. In recent years, the practical value of trace elements in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, certain endemic diseases, cancer, anti-aging, and promotion of wound healing has received extensive attention. Therefore, the modern meaning and clinical efficacy of authentic medicinal materials are not only related to their organic active ingredients, but also have a certain relationship with their trace elements. There has been no report on the trace element content in medicinal herbs. In this paper, the contents of trace elements zn, Cu, Fe, Cr, Se, Mo and macro elements Ca and Mg in Daping No.2 and Guangdi Long were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. To gain a more comprehensive understanding of the clinical significance of medicinal warts.
