作为一张民族报纸,搞好民族宣传,办出民族特色,是自己的光荣职责。我们鄂西报,是1984年12月1日成立鄂西土家族苗族自治州时,由过去的恩施报改名的。1985年4月胡耀邦同志考察鄂西时,还为鄂西报题写了报头。我们深知,这不仅仅是换块牌子,而是总书记勉励我们要办出民族特色。两年来,在浓墨重彩办出民族特色方面,我们做了一些工作。 As a national newspaper, it is our own glorious duty to do a good job of propaganda on the nationalities and to create ethnic characteristics.
