以1949年新中国成立为逻辑起点,“中华人民共和国史”教材编纂工作经过60年的探索取得了长足的进展。但与史学的传统强势学科相比,“国史”教材的编纂工作还很年轻,还存在诸多的问题和不足。不过,随着共和国不断延伸和发展的时代轨迹,在“国史”研究不断取得新成果和不断发掘新史料的双重推动下,“国史”教材编纂工作的科学性发展和系统性研究必将取得历史性的突破和收获。
