Just ten years ago, the name “Pudong” was only an informal view of the east coast of the Huangpu River by locals in Shanghai. I do not know when to start, Pudong has become a talk of people from all walks of life nouns and topics. Like talking about the art of people saying Greece, ancient Greece, talking about the economic development in Shanghai in recent years and even China, more and more people will refer to Pudong. If China’s eastern coastline is a lumpy arch, then the Yangtze River is the arrow that takes the bow. The Pudong, located at the intersection of the coastline and the Yangtze River, looks like a buoyant arrow. The accumulated economic energy is not only radiated To the Yangtze River Delta, and radiation to the country and the world. As one French scholar commented, “Pudong development is the biggest project that contemporary China participates in the process of economic globalization and is a new lever for China to enhance its international prestige in the future.”
