目前,由于国家课程目标未能及时跟进和细化,理工类高校英语专业自身压力重重,文学课陷于边缘化生态位的现象日益严重,严重影响了理工类高校英语专业学生人文素质的教育。从生态学理论角度看,文学课是一个动态的课程系统,及时调整这一系统的内部循环模式,可以充分发挥师生的创生作用,有效扩充文学课的“态”、“势”要素,提高文学课的生态位。本文通过实证研究表明,依据理工高校英语专业的学生特点和学习需求,将文学课细化为必修与选修兼具、基础素质与专业理论并重、适当提前开课时间的课程定位,可以解决理工高校英语专业文学课的边缘化问题。
