Paecilomyces hepiali is a new fungus isolated from Cordyceps sinensis collected from the Baima Snow Mountain, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province, in 1982 by the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2008, the name of the species was published and the original The dry cultures of the 82-2 strain used were described as a model specimen and were stored in the Chinese Society of Herbal Medicine Herbarium (CMIC), which is still present in the museum. In February 2015, Yao et al. Published “” Neotypification of Paecilomyces hepiali (Hypocreales) "in the Taxon magazine to request a separate new model fungus of Paecilomyces toxoplasmosis. This paper proposed a new alternative model of Paecilomyces Can not be established
