Buddhist temple lamp, often years old, burning cream following 晷, long burning does not extinguish, never ending, it is also known as long light. Tang “Sui and Tang Jiahua” cloud: “Jiangning County Temple has Jin Chang Ming Deng, years old fire color green instead of heat. Sui Wendi Ping Chen, has surprised its ancient, still exist.” If the long light here that is For the stone light, it is speculated that the stone temples should be set before the Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties. However, the real thing does not exist, Jusanling scattered into exquisite sound. At present, the earliest material information of the stone lanterns in the Buddhist temples before the Sui and Tang dynasties in China is the same as that of the Tongzi Temple in the Northern Qi Dynasty (Figure 1 and 3). Therefore, the regulation of stone lanterns in early Buddhist temples has been hard to test.
