随着珠三角地区经济、贸易的不断发展,对外交流日益频繁,各领域应用型英语口译人才的需求激增,珠三角地区本科院校陆续开设了英语口译课程。为了解该地区本科院校口译课程设置情况、上课流程、学生课上课后口译学习情况,以问卷和访谈结合的方式开展相关调查。调查对象为珠三角地区12所高校英语专业大三、大四的学生。调查表明,珠三角地区本科院校英语口译教学与学生实际需求还存在很大差距,例如教材针对性不强,口译教室开放时间不够,专题口译教学不足。学生的学习情况则存在自信心不足等,希望开设更多口译讲座、开展更多的口译实践等问题。
With the continuous development of economy and trade in the Pearl River Delta, foreign exchange is becoming more frequent and the demand for skilled English interpreters in various fields soars. The undergraduate colleges and universities in the Pearl River Delta Region successively set up English interpretation courses. In order to understand the situation of undergraduate course interpreting courses in the region, the course of the class, the interpretation of the interpretation of the students after class in class, the questionnaire and interviews were used to carry out relevant investigations. The survey respondents were sophomores and senior students of 12 college English majors in the Pearl River Delta. The survey shows that there is still a long way to go to interpret English interpreting teaching among students in the institutions of higher learning in the Pearl River Delta. For example, the pertinence of textbooks is not strong, the opening hours of interpreting classrooms are not enough, and the teaching of topic interpreters is not enough. There is a lack of self-confidence in students’ learning situations, etc. They hope to open more lectures on interpretation and carry out more practice in interpretation.
