Debt, has become a common phenomenon of modern government. It is not just China that looks at all countries in the world today. It can not afford to borrow about 2 million U.S. dollars per minute as the leader of the modern world system. The U.S. government lags in debt. The total amount of public debt currently officially recognized by the federal government is $ 16,900 billion; however, former United States Attorney General David Walker said in 2012 that the figure was inaccurate.
