11971年1月5日,我出生在江汉平原一个普通的农村家庭。父亲在武汉一家汽车配件厂上班,母亲是地地道道的农民,我们家是当时俗称的“半边户”。我出生之前,已有了两个哥哥。也许因为母亲怀我时年龄大,营养不良,我刚满八个月就慌忙火急来到了这个世界。刚出生的我不足四斤,像只小猫蜷缩着,根本看不到头发。母亲一度担心瘦弱的我能否被养活。而早产似乎让父亲抓住了一个把柄,后来的岁月中,只要我一遇坎坷,父亲就会摇头悲叹:
