长期以来,许多科技工作者曾对黄土地区不同类型森林的水土保持效益进行过一些研究,但多为零散的和少量的。1981～1983年,我们在黄土地区的山西省汾西县,对不同森林类型的水土保持效益进行了较为全面而深入的研究,并取得了一定的成果,它对今后营造各类水土保持林和正确评价水土保持的作用具有较大的意义。
