在大学英语教学中,重点需关注因材施教、激发学生坚持自主学习的能力,从而达到真正提高学生对英语的听、说、读、写、译等语言应用能力。英语词汇是语言最重要最基本的载体,所有事物都需要用词汇来表达,正是如此,词汇教学在大学英语教学中的作用不可替代。英语的历史文化和其独有思维模式,使得英语词汇在表达时有不同于中华文化的地方。学生如何能根据语境透彻理解词汇在全文中的意思,并能正确传神地用英语表达说明自己的思维,那么就要对英语词汇的隐喻的意义进行理解与认识。
In college English teaching, the emphasis should be placed on teaching students in accordance with their aptitudes so as to stimulate students ’abilities of self-regulated learning so as to truly improve students’ ability of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. English vocabulary is the language of the most important and most basic carrier, all things need to use words to express, it is so, vocabulary teaching in English teaching can not be replaced. English history and culture and its unique mode of thinking, making the English vocabulary in the expression of different from the Chinese culture. How can students fully understand the meaning of words in the whole text according to the context and can express their own thinking correctly and vividly? Then, we should understand and understand the meaning of English metaphors.
