通过对基于三层简化模型的长周期光纤光栅模式耦合机理的研究,提出了一种仿真长周期光纤光栅透射谱的新方法。该方法并不需要象传统的仿真那样需一一求出各损耗峰的位置和带宽,而是直接将某波长下纤芯基模与各奇次包层模式耦合的透射率作为该波长的总的透射率并据此求出整个光栅的透射谱。模拟结果与已有的实验结果进行了对比,结果吻合得相当好。与其它方法相比,该方法直观、简单,编程、调试容易,具有强的可操作性。
A new method to simulate the transmission spectrum of long-period fiber grating is proposed based on the study of the coupling mechanism of long-period fiber grating based on the three-layer simplified model. The method does not need to calculate the position and the bandwidth of each loss peak one by one as the traditional simulation does. Instead, the method directly transmits the transmittance of the coupled fundamental mode of the core with each odd cladding mode at a wavelength as the total of the wavelength The transmittance of the entire grating is then calculated. The simulation results are compared with the existing experimental results and the results are in good agreement. Compared with other methods, the method is intuitive, simple, easy to program and debug, and has strong operability.
