This paper focuses on the Gezong and Donggu granite bodies in the Danba area, and demonstrates the formation age, source and origin of the two granites and the effect of the Himalayan tectono-thermal events from isotopic geochronology, geochemistry and tectonic geology They are the product of magmatic activity in Jinning Period, and the source materials are low maturity volcanic sedimentary rocks formed in the middle and late Proterozoic, which in fact also represents the ancient base of the Songpan-Garzê orogenic belt. The late Proterozoic orogenic belt along the western margin of the Yangtze plate, including the Pakistani region, should be an important part of the ancient Yangtze plate.
