This article is the fourth chapter of the book Sorge Incident written by Yoozaki Hideki, a famous Japanese literary critic, a researcher at Lu Xun, and a writer of documentary literature. The chapter is divided into eight sections, due to space limitations, the translation of which deleted the fourth section “Guards think tank ”. The Sorge case was a major international espionage case that took place in Japan during the Second World War. The case’s protagonist Rihard Sorge (1895-1944) graduated early in Berlin University, received a doctorate in political science. He joined the German Communist Party in 1919 and later went to the Soviet Union to become a member of the Soviet Communist Party (1925) and the headquarters of the Comintern.
