Annie Pro was born in Connecticut in 1935. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree. In 1973, he earned a master’s degree from Sir George George Williams University in Montreal, Canada. Former reporter, editor for many years, and write a column for a number of magazine. In 1988, Annie published her first work, the short story collection Song of the Heart, winning the OU Henry Prize in one fell swoop. She subsequently published two novel “Postcards” and “Shipping News” in succession in 1992 and 1993, respectively winning the Faulkner Novels Prize in 1993, the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize for Literature. And many other awards. Since then, she has published the novel “Guitar Sin” (1996) and another short story collection “Close Range” (1999) awarded the European-Henry Prize for Literature. In 2006, according to his short story “Brokeback Mountain” adaptation of the movie of the same name, won the Oscars three awards.
