冯汉骥,考古学家,1899年11月21日出生在湖北宜昌小溪塔冯家湾一户普通人家,其父是中学老师,他绞尽脑汁为儿子取名为汉骥,字伯良,是希望儿子将来成为名马良驹,有所作为。而以冯汉骥日后的成就来看,他并没有辜负父亲的期望。他曾留学美国入读哈佛大学和宾夕法尼亚大学,获人类学哲学博士学位。1937年回国后,执教四川大学,历任川西博物馆馆长、西南博物院副院长兼自然博物馆馆长。曾主持挖掘王建墓,考察发掘广汉三星堆等遗址。
Feng Hanji, an archaeologist, was born on November 21, 1899 in an ordinary home in Fengjiawan, Xiaoxi Tower, Yichang, Hubei Province. His father was a high school teacher. He racked his brains to name his son Han Ji, Son will become famous horse, make a difference. In the future achievements of Feng Han Ji, he did not live up to his father’s expectations. He studied in the United States into Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania, received a PhD in anthropology. After returning to China in 1937, he coached Sichuan University and served successively as director of Western Sichuan Museum, vice president of Southwest Museum and curator of Natural History Museum. Had presided over the excavation of Wang Tomb, inspection excavation Sanhan heap and other sites.
