On July 19, at the mouth of the Huangganghe River in Raoping County, flags were fluttering and crowded. A ship carrying people’s wishes of the villagers in Xiuzhou Island was slowly heading for Xuxun Island. People cheer: NPC, the government for the people! Time freeze on June 4, 2004. On that day, the Standing Committee of Chaozhou Municipal People’s Congress organized part of the national and provincial people’s congresses to inspect Xuxu Island. While learning about the long-term lack of power supply in Xiuzhou Village, they also learned about the traffic inconvenience in the village.
