In order to obtain more productive and sustainably grown crops, researchers engaged in crop cultivation techniques think it necessary to make substantial changes to the current crops. To that end, agricultural breeding companies have begun to shift to other technologies, including genetic technologies, robotics, and others, to increase the efficiency of their cultivation aimed at making crops robust, productive and resistant. The following is a description of some of the crop improvement techniques currently under exploration and the many other techniques available.
